Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Seller and acceptance

These terms are a contract between you and ContinentalSMP ("we", "us", "our"), the legal business name under which the ContinentalSMP Minecraft server, website, and store are operated by Parker Hornstra as a sole trader. ContinentalSMP is the seller of everything offered on this website and in our store, and you are contracting with ContinentalSMP when you buy from us.

By continuing to use our website, server, or store, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

2. The service

ContinentalSMP provides a Minecraft Towny survival server, this website, and a digital store selling virtual items such as ranks and crates for use in-game. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance; the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing intellectual property rights, and interfering with the security or operation of the service (including malware, probing, or scraping). In-game conduct is additionally governed by our server rules.

4. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the service. ContinentalSMP is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

5. Purchases and payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. All store items are digital goods delivered to the Minecraft username you provide at checkout; see our Refund Policy for refund terms.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our policies or server rules. When access ends, virtual items and in-game progress may be removed.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to parkerhornstr@gmail.com or raised in our Discord community.
